Hi there,
I had to change my password. So now I am able to start using my blog account.
I enjoyed going into GLD. I was able to get in touch with Vance, with whom I both voice and text chatted. I also said hello to Maria Elena and chatted with Laine, as well.
Besides listening to to Buthaina's presentation (a very good job!) and heard part of Teresa's from Portugal. I could hear Vance as a moderator but he sounded very far away.
Then I had an interesting voice chatting with Antonio Diaz who was the presenter and moderator of one of the sessions called America en EspaÃ±ol and Bilingual Community. There I met other people too, and Antonio invited me to one of his sessions online for April. While talking, I sent him the Columbus State (where I work) URL and he displayed the college web page so people could go and visit.
While in the main auditorium, I chatted privately with another instructor who lives in New Mexico and happened to be from Ohio!
I hope to participate more next year, when (hopefully) I will be more experienced with all this.
